Evergreen Medical Clinic News
Our clinic is still open to give the best of care to our patients. We still see booked patients and walk in patients. We are still able to attend to the healthcare needs of all of our patients by means of these three innovations:
1. Drive through service
2. Telephone conference/call
3. Video conference/call
Patients with a fever or cough or shortness of breath or nasal congestion or recent travel abroad to other countries or provinces are not allowed to come into the clinic building. They are to phone the clinic to discuss their condition with their family physicians.
We are strictly honouring social isolation in the waiting rooms and the check in and check out areas. We have special rooms for vulnerable patients who are without any symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath or history of recent relevant travel.
Special precautions and isolation will be made available to vulnerable patient such as those with chronic conditions like diabetes, congestive heart disease, coronary heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancers, patients who are on immunosuppressive treatment or have immunosuppressive diseases. Others belonging this vulnerable group include pregnant women, children and people aged 65 years and older.
Patients who desire to wait at the clinic in isolation should kindly inform the reception staff. They will be allowed to wait in one of our special rooms alone. Reception staff may ask you to wait in your car until you are called in to see a doctor.
Under our current state of emergency non-urgent ultrasound scans may not be available. Our X-ray and laboratory services have been closed.
